Description

Brayco 717 is a straw-colored, medium viscosity hydraulic fluid. Brayco 717 is a blend of highly refined petroleum base stocks and additives, which provide resistance to oxidation and corrosion, anti-wear properties, and a high viscosity index. Castrol Brayco 717 Temperature Range is -40ºC to 122ºC (-40ºF to 250ºF). Brayco 717 is designed for the hydraulic transmission of power in Naval ordinance hydraulic equipment. Brayco 717 provides corrosion protection in the presence of salt water and spray. Brayco 717 has a maximum recommended shelf life of 6 years from date of manufacture. This shelf life assumes that the product is stored in its original unopened packaging in ambient temperature conditions. Brayco 717 meets the requirements of military specification MIL-DTL-17111C. MIL-DTL-17111C requires first article testing rather than qualification and approval. This fluid is identified by NATO Code Number H-575.
